Hadithi ya Leo - Adhabu ya Kujiua (The Punishment for Suicide)

Narrated  Abu Huraira:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Whoever purposely throws himself from a mountain and kills himself, will be in the (Hell) Fire falling down into it and abiding therein perpetually forever; and whoever drinks poison and kills himself with it, he will be carrying his poison in his hand and drinking it in the (Hell) Fire wherein he will abide eternally forever; and whoever kills himself with an iron weapon, will be carrying that weapon in his hand and stabbing his `Abdomen with it in the (Hell) Fire wherein he will abide eternally forever." ( Sahih Al-Bukhari 5778)

Aya ya Leo - Malaika wa Motoni (Angels of Hell)

Na hatukuwafanya walinzi wa Motoni ila ni Malaika, wala hatukuifanya idadi yao hiyo ila kuwatatanisha walio kufuru, wapate kuwa na yakini walio pewa Kitabu, na wazidi Imani wale walio amini, wala wasiwe na shaka walio pewa Kitabu na Waumini, na wapate kusema wenye maradhi katika nyoyo zao na makafiri: Mwenyezi Mungu amekusudia nini kwa mfano huu? Ndio kama hivyo Mwenyezi Mungu humwacha apotee amtakaye, na humwongoa amtakaye. Na hapana yeyote anaye jua majeshi ya Mola wako Mlezi ila Yeye tu. Na haya si chochote ila ni ukumbusho kwa binaadamu.

And We have not made the keepers of the Fire except angels. And We have not made their number except as a trial for those who disbelieve - that those who were given the Scripture will be convinced and those who have believed will increase in faith and those who were given the Scripture and the believers will not doubt and that those in whose hearts is hypocrisy and the disbelievers will say, "What does Allah intend by this as an example?" Thus does Allah leave astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And none knows the soldiers of your Lord except Him. And mention of the Fire is not but a reminder to humanity.(Qur'an 74:31)

Aya za Leo - Malaika wanaochukua roho( The Angels who draw the soul)

When Allah Swears on his creation. Which one are you?

Naapa kwa Malaika wanao vuta kwa nguvu roho za watu wabaya. Na kwa wanao vuta kwa utaratibu roho za walio neemeshwa.

I swear by the angels who violently pull out the souls of the wicked. And by those who gently draw out the souls of the blessed. (Qur'an 79:1-2)

Hadithi ya Leo - Kufunga Ashuraa (Fasting on Ashuraa)

Imehadithiwa na Aisha:

Kabila la Quraish, walikuwa wakifunga siku ya Ashura kabla ya uislamu. Mtume wa Allah akawaamrisha Waislamu wafunge hiyo siku mpaka Mfungo wa Mwezi wa Ramadhani ulivyo amrishwa. Ndipo Mtume wa Allah akasema, " Yule anayetaka kufunga siku ya Ashura afunge, na yule asiyetaka kufunga asifunge.

Narrated `Aisha:

(The tribe of) Quraish used to fast on the day of Ashura' in the Pre-Islamic period, and then Allah's Apostle ordered (Muslims) to fast on it till the fasting in the month of Ramadan was prescribed; whereupon the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "He who wants to fast (on 'Ashura') may fast, and he who does not want to fast may not fast." (Bukhari 1893)

Aya ya Leo - Zawadi (Reward)

Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu atawaingiza walio amini na wakatenda mema katika Bustani zipitazo mito kati yake. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu hutenda atakayo.

Indeed, Allah will admit those who believe and do righteous deeds to gardens beneath which rivers flow. Indeed, Allah does what He intends.(Qur'an 22:14)

Hadithi ya Leo - Adhan (Call to Prayer)

Imehadithiwa na Ibn Umar:

Waislamu walivyo wasili Madina, walikuwa wakikusanyika kusali kwa kukadiria muda wake. Enzi hizo, Adhan ya kuwaita watu kuswali ilikuwa haipo. Watu waka pendekeza itumike kengele kama wakristo, na wengine wakapendekeza tarumbeta kama inayotumika na wayahudi, lakini Umar ndio alikuwa wa kwanza kupendekeza itumike sauti ya mtu kuwaita watu kwenye sala. Kwahiyo Mtume wa Allah, akamuamrisha Bilal apande juu na kutangaza Adhan kuita watu kuswali.

Narrated Ibn `Umar:

When the Muslims arrived at Medina, they used to assemble for the prayer, and used to guess the time for it. During those days, the practice of Adhan for the prayers had not been introduced yet. Once they discussed this problem regarding the call for prayer. Some people suggested the use of a bell like the Christians, others proposed a trumpet like the horn used by the Jews, but `Umar was the first to suggest that a man should call (the people) for the prayer; so Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ordered Bilal to get up and pronounce the Adhan for prayers. (Bukhari 604)
