I don't know about everyone else, but I blame the Saudi Government on this.

I heard another interview from one of the East African Pilgrims and he
said that the road or path was closed, forcing people to take whatever
route to go back and that is why the people clashed. Why did they close
that path on one of the busiest days? Lets assume there was construction going on and they had to close it, why didn't they have people directing the masses where to go? I hear 5 Tanzanians died, we will have to wait for an official statement, but I am angry there is absolutely no excuse for this.

This is a tragedy, first the crane accident and now this? It goes to show that no matter how much the Saudi government prepares for the massive influx of Hajj Pilgrims, they still have ways to go for crowd control, I mean this is not the first time and it happens a lot, its one of the main things pilgrims are told about before they go. Construction improvement is a step in the right direction, however, your dealing with people from different societies and culture, there should be more focus on crowd control policies, for example they can place panic buttons for folks in front and around the walls to sound an alarm when a situation gets uncomfortable. 

May Allah accept the departed into his kingdom, and may he grant peace to the families left behind.

Arafah 2015

It is expected to be on Wednesday since Thursday September 24th is Eid Al Adha. On this day the Muslims will travel 20km from Mina to Mount Arafat to stand at the site where Prophet Mohammad(S.A.W) is believed to have delivered his farewell sermon.

Then they will go back to Makkah and perform the Tawaf, which is going around the Kaaba seven times.

The rest of us not participating in the Hajj Fast on Arafah, so we are all fasting on Wednesday, yes?

Someone needs to be held responsible for this tragedy.
