Internet Explorer (IE) Bug. Yikes!

I am writing this as I can see most of my readers are using Internet Explorer. Microsoft has issued a warning on their security advisory on the 26th of April, 2014 for a bug in IE versions 6-11. This bug could lead to a compromise on your whole computer, if infected.

Below is a statement explaining the bug.

"The vulnerability exists in the way that Internet Explorer accesses an object in memory that has been deleted or has not been properly allocated. The vulnerability may corrupt memory in a way that could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user within Internet Explorer. An attacker could host a specially crafted website that is designed to exploit this vulnerability through Internet Explorer and then convince a user to view the website."

Ni hivi, usi click kwenye link usizozijua, haswa kwenye emails, instant messages, discussion boards, ma forums na kadhalika kama una wasiwasi nazo.

For now I suggest you use a different browser, like Firefox or Chrome to check on your bintiwakiislamu updates :)

Heartbleed bug

Kuna bug ya openSSL iliyotangazwa inaitwa Heartbleed. Hi bug inawapa ma hackers access ya username na password ya watumiaji wa websites zinazotumia openSSL kama Facebook, Google, insta, yahoo nakadhalika.Hii bug imesha rekebishwa na kampuni ya openSSL, ingia hapa upate orodha ya websites zilizo adhirika na hii bug.

Huduma ya Windows XP Kwishniiiiiiii

Haya wadau wa mambo ya teknolojia. Microsoft walitangaza mwisho wao kutoa huduma kwenye operating systems yao ya Windows XP ilikuwa tarehe 8 April mwaka 2014.

Kama una computer ya nyumbani au kazini kwako, amabayo system yake inaendeshwa na Windows XP, basi hili swala ni lako. Kila wiki, Microsoft hutoa updates kwenye computer yako, hizi updates kwa kawaida zinakuwa na security fixes. Microsoft systems zake kwa vile ni nyingi duniani, zina shambuliwaga zaidi na ma hackers. Ni vizuri kuhakikisha unazi update mara kwa mara, ili uweze kulinda files zako, na passwords zako ukiingia mitandaoni.

Microsoft sasa hivi ana Windows 7 na Windows 8.1, unaweza ku update computer yako, lakini computer lazima iwe na atleast dual core processor, iweze kufanya kazi na speed nzuri.
