Does man not consider that We created him from a [mere] sperm-drop - then at once he is a clear adversary?And he makes comparisons for Us, and forgets his own (origin and) Creation: He says, "Who can give life to (dry) bones and decomposed ones (at that)?"
Say, "He will give them life Who created them for the first time! for He is Well-versed in every kind of creation!

[It is] He who made for you from the green tree, fire, and then from it you ignite.
"Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like thereof?" - Yea, indeed! for He is the Creator Supreme, of skill and knowledge (infinite)!
Verily, when He intends a thing, His Command is, "be", and it is!
So glory to Him in Whose hands is the dominion of all things: and to Him will ye be all brought back.

Prophet Muhammed(S.A.W) said, "Surely everything has a heart, and the heart of the Qur'an is Yasin. I would love that it be in the heart of every person of my people".

Aisha(R.A) reported that the Prophet said that there is a Surah in the Qur'an that interceds for its reciter and forgive its listener. Know, it is Surah Yasin.

Usiku wa nisf Shaban - The Night of Salvation

Huu usiku una angukia kati ya tarehe 14 na 15. Maulamaa wengi wamependekeza kufanya ibada usiku huu kutokana na hadithi ya Mtume Muhammad(S.A.W). Baada ya Swala ya Maghrib au Isha ni vizuri kusoma Suratul Yasin, dua na useme "La Hawla walaa Quwwata illa Billahil-aliyil Azeem" (maana yake: Hakuna Kudura wala Nguvu isipokuwa ya Allah -There is neither might nor any power except with Allah). Tumuombe Mwenyezi Mungu atu samehe madhambi yetu na waliotangualia mbele yetu, atuepeushe na majanga ya dunia, atuzidishie imani, atupe afya njema, Amani duniani na atufungulie milango ya kheri hapa duniani na Akhera.Pia ni vizuri kufunga tarehe 13, 14, 15 wa mwezi wa Shaban (Juni 22,23 na 24). Kama huwezi basi jitahidi kufunga tarehe 15 baada ya usiku wa ibada kwa ajili ya maombi yako, na In Shaa Allah Mwenyezi Mungu atakufanyia mambo yako yawe mepesi.

Ibn Majah alisema: Mtume Muhammad(S.A.W) aliwaambia, usiku huu Allah atasema, " Kuna mtu yoyote anaye omba msamaha nimsamehe, mtu yoyote anayeomba msaada nimsaidie, mtu yoyote mwenye dhiki nimpe faraja, usiku kucha mpaka Alfajiri.

(English translation of the Hadith)
The prophet Muhammad , said that during the night of 15th of Shaban, Allah will say "is there any person repenting so that I forgive him, and any person seeking provision so that I provide for him, and any person with distress so that I relieve him, and so on until dawn." reported by Ibn Majah.

Minnesota Dawah Institute (MDI) is the first Islamic center which successfully held two Muslim Youth Conference in Minnesota on May 2010 and May 2011 which had an attendance of about 2500 Muslim youth. MDI wants to raise awareness of the different roles Muslim community members; intellectuals, scholars, and the youth in America especially the Muslim youth in the state of Minnesota. MDI plays a critical role in educating Islam to youth both Muslims and non-Muslims. MDI is youth oriented institution that wants to search for a durable and comprehensive education system which bridges between Islam and American culture in general. The Institute wants to promote an alternative academic and practical approach to the Muslim social and youth problems and by doing so, to encourage Muslim scholars and intellectuals to participate in the search of solution for all problems which Muslim youth facing in America. The institute will strive to promote greater participation in bridging between Islamic and American cultures.

Mtume Muhammad(S.A.W), alikuwaga akifunga mwezi wa Shabaan kasoro siku chache za mwisho. Tujitahidi kufanya ibada sana mwezi huu, na kufunga kujitayarisha mfungo wa Mwezi ujao ambao ni Ramadhan. Nawaacha na hii hadithi ya Mtume Mohammed(S.A.W), Allah apokee ibada zetu na maombi yetu na atu epushe na majanga ya Dunia.

Ummul Mu'mineen 'Aishah (r), alisema, "Mtume Muhammad , alikuwa akifunga siku nyingi za Shaban. Nikamwambia, 'Ewe Mtume wa Allah, kwani Shaban ndio mwezi uupendao kufunga?' Akamjibu, "Mwezi huu Allah anatoa orodha ya watu watakao kufa mwaka huu. Kwahiyo, ningependa kifo changu kije wakati nikiwa nimefunga."
